ETI VIKAS SHARMA
Exclusive Interview of ETI VIKAS SHARMA (FASHION MODEL AND BLOGGER) by Nikhar Kwatra
Q1.Being a model requires full time availability , how do you manage your schedule despite of being a mother to two beautiful girls?
- Modelling is my passion and being infront of the camera and shooting gives me a feeling of contentment but being a mother is my life. Handling both the things together does take a toll on me sometimes but with the support of my husband and my family things get very smooth. Whenever I have to go to shoot my husband makes sure of the needs of my daughters. I come home and I always spend time with them and they’re very excited to hear stories about my shoot.
Q2.Do you have any experience with criticism? How do you handle it?
- Yes I do. I belong to a family with a political background so the criticism I face are about how do you let you daughter in law model and all that. I’ve faced criticism in this context a lot of times. I haven’t really felt the need to handle it I just don’t let it effect me because I believe people will say things about you no matter what you do. If I ever face positive criticism I make sure to apply that to my life.
Q3.What would consider your biggest achievement till now and how did it affect your lifestyle?
- I don’t think I have achieved anything big in my life yet. But if I have to name something then seeing hoardings with your picture on it is a very joyful feeling. It hasn’t affected my lifestyle in anyway just that people send me messages saying that “ hey eti we saw your picture “ which makes me feel happy that yes people are seeing my work and appreciating it.
Q4.You are a socialite also , how does the tasks in the field of social work fit your professional mission?
- I believe that anyone who is privileged enough to help people in need should do. I’ve been lucky that I got the opportunity to help people. I try to do whenever I can , it doesn’t always have to be a grand gesture you can just help your house worker with something and that’s also enough. My professional mission and social work are indirectly related. As I mentioned earlier I belong to a political family so doing social work is always noticed which has helped me in my career but I don’t do social work for a professional mission , I do it from my heart.
